প্রিয় চলচ্চিত্রপ্রেমী, শুভানুধ্যায়ী ও অংশগ্রহণকারীবৃন্দ,

আসসালামু আলাইকুম।

বাংলাদেশে প্রচলিত আইন ও বাংলাদেশ চলচ্চিত্র সেন্সর বোর্ডের বিধি-বিধান অনুযায়ী কোনো চলচ্চিত্র উৎসব আয়োজনের ক্ষেত্রে নিবন্ধিত ফিল্ম সোসাইটির মাধ্যমে কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করা এবং প্রদর্শিত চলচ্চিত্রসমূহের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় সেন্সর সনদ গ্রহণ করা আবশ্যক। যদি এ নিয়ম অমান্য করে ফেস্টিভ্যাল প্রদর্শন করা হয় তাহলে মন্ত্রনালয় প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যাবস্হা গ্রহন করতে বাধ্য হবে। তাই সব নিয়ম মেনে ফেস্টিভ্যাল আয়োজন করায় যুক্তিযুক্ত।

আমাদের সংগঠন PinkAsia Film Society বর্তমানে প্রয়োজনীয় নিবন্ধন ও লাইসেন্স প্রাপ্তির লক্ষ্যে সকল প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র সংগ্রহ করেছে এবং শীঘ্রই তথ্য ও সম্প্রচার মন্ত্রণালয়ের অধীন সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের নিকট আবেদন জমা দেবে। আমরা আশাবাদী, সকল নিয়ম ও আইন মেনে দ্রুততম সময়ের মধ্যেই PinkAsia Film Society-এর আনুষ্ঠানিক অনুমোদন ও লাইসেন্স প্রাপ্ত হবে।

একই সঙ্গে, বাংলাদেশ-জার্মান ফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যাল ২০২৬-এর জন্য নির্বাচিত চলচ্চিত্রসমূহের প্রয়োজনীয় সেন্সর সনদ গ্রহণের কার্যক্রমও সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের অনুমোদনক্রমে সম্পন্ন করা হবে।

এই প্রক্রিয়াগুলো যথাযথভাবে সম্পন্ন করার স্বার্থে পূর্বনির্ধারিত সময়ে উৎসব আয়োজন করা সম্ভব হচ্ছে না। এ কারণে নির্ধারিত সময়ে ফেস্টিভ্যাল অনুষ্ঠিত না হওয়ায় আমরা সকলের কাছে আন্তরিকভাবে দুঃখ প্রকাশ করছি এবং ক্ষমাপ্রার্থী।

ইনশাআল্লাহ, সকল আনুষ্ঠানিকতা সম্পন্ন হওয়ার পর আগামী নভেম্বর ২০২৬-এর প্রথম সপ্তাহে তিন দিনব্যাপী Bangladesh-German Film Festival 2026 অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

চলচ্চিত্রপ্রেমী সকল বন্ধু, শুভানুধ্যায়ী, নির্মাতা, শিল্পী, কলাকুশলী এবং দর্শকদের উৎসবে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য আন্তরিক আমন্ত্রণ জানাচ্ছি।

সবার সুস্বাস্থ্য, সুখ ও মঙ্গল কামনা করছি।

Important Announcement Regarding Bangladesh-German Film Festival 2026

Dear Film Enthusiasts, Supporters, and Participants,

Greetings.

According to the laws and regulations in force in Bangladesh, as well as the guidelines of the Bangladesh Film Censor Board, any film festival must be organized through a registered film society, and all films screened at the festival must obtain the necessary censorship certification. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in appropriate action being taken by the relevant authorities. Therefore, it is both reasonable and responsible to organize the festival in full compliance with all legal requirements.

Our organization, PinkAsia Film Society, has already collected the necessary documentation required for registration and licensing. We will soon submit our application to the relevant authority under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. We are optimistic that, by following all applicable laws and procedures, PinkAsia Film Society will receive its official approval and license within a short period of time.

At the same time, the selected films for the Bangladesh-German Film Festival 2026 will undergo the required certification process, and the necessary permissions will be obtained from the relevant authorities.

In order to complete these procedures properly and in accordance with the law, it has not been possible to hold the festival on the previously scheduled date. We sincerely apologize for the postponement and for any inconvenience caused to our participants, supporters, and audiences.

Insha'Allah, upon completion of all official formalities, the Bangladesh-German Film Festival 2026 will be held as a three-day event during the first week of November 2026.

We warmly invite all film lovers, supporters, filmmakers, artists, industry professionals, and audiences to join us and celebrate this special cultural event.

We wish everyone good health, happiness, and success.

Afroza Chaity is an experienced television producer, content creator, trainer, and educator. She has been working for about eighteen years across television, film, and theater. She began her career in journalism and later built an extensive portfolio in production, direction, scriptwriting, content development, and team leadership. She has served as producer and senior producer at leading television channels in Bangladesh, including NTV, Jamuna Television, and Somoy Television. She has worked in entertainment programs, information-based shows, lifestyle programs, documentaries, children’s and youth programs, and women-focused talk shows. She has hands-on experience in program planning, budgeting, production coordination, script development, direction, and managing the full production cycle as a team leader.

Her work also extends to education and training. She has served as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Drama at Jagannath University, where she taught theater, event management, and advertisement management and also worked as a course director. She has taught production courses at PATHSHALA South Asian Media Institute and worked with BRAC University on the Empathy Film Project, guiding students to make short films. As a facilitator and trainer, she has conducted workshops for many organizations, including UCEP Bangladesh, Save the Children, BRAC, UNICEF, Swisscontact, Wave Foundation, and the Johns Hopkins Center. Her training areas include communication skills, leadership, theater, classroom cultural practice, gender awareness, adolescent rights, working women’s issues, health awareness, and motivation. She has also developed training modules on these subjects.

Since 2017 she has been working as a consultant in the development sector and with various government and corporate entities. She has worked with Save the Children on TVET-related documentary projects as director and scriptwriter. For the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, she has worked on series documentaries related to maternal health, prenatal and postnatal care, nutrition, child health, and safe motherhood. She has directed and scripted content for UCEP Bangladesh, CAMPE, WaterAid, PKSF, Wave Foundation, DISK, Plan International, ENW, Swisscontact, and many other organizations. Her projects have covered topics such as women entrepreneurship, early marriage, drug abuse, primary education, working-class life, Rohingya community issues, adolescent empowerment, child rights, and social inclusion.

Afroza is also active as a presenter and anchor. She has anchored and moderated television talk shows and digital programs for Somoy Television and Views Bangladesh and has hosted discussion programs on social issues, business, and women’s empowerment. She has also anchored corporate and development sector events and panel discussions.

She worked with Netz Bangladesh as a film mentor, guiding a group of German girls on the topic of feminism and film language.

Over the years she has participated in various professional training programs, including media training, news presentation, information production design, television programming, social communication strategies, and facilitation and training skills, from both local and international institutions. She has worked with a wide range of organizations and brands, including Save the Children, ENW, Swisscontact, CAMPE, BRAC, UNICEF, Ministry of Health, Johns Hopkins Center, Pusti Happy times brand, Pran Company, Well Food, Golden sun limited, Purnava Brand RENETA, ACI Group

Afroza Chaity holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Drama and Dramatics from Jahangirnagar University. She was born on June 3, 1978, and her permanent home is in Kushtia, Bangladesh. She continues to work as an organizer, educator, trainer, and media professional. She enjoys reading, writing, gardening, traveling, cycling, and engaging with theater. She is an active member of the theater group Natyakendro and is involved in various cultural practices. She also actively engages in social initiatives related to women’s and children’s rights, education, and health.
Combining television production, documentary filmmaking, storytelling, training, and teaching, Afroza Chaity has established herself as a skilled and dedicated professional in Bangladesh’s media and development communication sector.

আজ পঁচিশে বৈশাখ — বাঙালির সংস্কৃতি, সাহিত্য ও সংগীতের এক গৌরবময় দিন। এই দিনেই জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলেন বিশ্বকবি Rabindranath Tagore। তাঁর সৃষ্টিকর্ম বাংলা ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতিকে বিশ্বদরবারে পৌঁছে দিয়েছে। কবিতা, গান, গল্প, উপন্যাস, নাটক— সাহিত্যর প্রতিটি শাখায় তিনি রেখে গেছেন অনন্য অবদান।
রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর শুধু একজন কবি নন, তিনি ছিলেন মানবতার কণ্ঠস্বর। তাঁর লেখনী আমাদের প্রেম, প্রকৃতি, দেশপ্রেম ও জীবনের গভীর দর্শনের কথা শেখায়। “আমার সোনার বাংলা” এবং “জন গণ মন” এর মতো অমর সৃষ্টি আজও কোটি মানুষের হৃদয়ে অনুরণিত হয়।
