Here is a guitar cover after ages, Molchat Doma's 'Sudno'. First came across this band last year through their performance on KEXP.

This song is built on the F minor scale and has a 'patternistic' arpeggio based approach to the arrangement of the guitars at the first half and then 8th notes notes belonging to the scale on a single string for the second half.

The outro bit for বরফের দেশ, currently its an eight minute song and here in the last 2-3 minutes I tried to express the emotions of seeing the sun after a long dark winter.

An update on 'বরফের দেশ', here is the intro to the song, went for a more storytelling approach for this one, changed the guitar fills and incorporated an outro bit.

I spent quite a bit of time in Northern Europe, the song is about the impact of weather conditions in the shaping of culture in different parts of the world. A person living near the equator has a different outlook on life as compared to someone living near the arctic circle, the soil in those lands are different, the fruits they bear are different.

In this part of the world we look forward to the end of summer to spend time outdoors whereas in those places people look forward to summer for 8-9 months and celebrate it through various festivals and outdoor activities.

This performance was captured using an Android mobile phone mic without any plugins to the audio file unlike the previous demo.

Chorus 1 from 'সুখের কারাগার', made a few changes to the song since the last update.

Theme of the song is modern living conditions and the resulting disconnect with nature.
