This summer we want to focus on giving back to the community and cultivating our shared passion for growing together.
We kick the season off with the most Bengali thing ever, a Boishakh celebration. Let's not let the Boishakh vibes die. We want to support community small businesses that uphold and carry the legacy of our country and culture within Canada and folks that respect us and align with the diaspora values, like Ruposhi Bangla, our host for the first event for the summer who have graciously offered to share their venue with us to build this community together and offer an all you can eat authentic Bangla Pohela Boishakh all-you-can eat buffet. We will have music and various other activities to bring back good old Bangladeshi nostalgia and for all the feels. This is going to be such a fun night to celebrate with likeminded Bangladeshi folks, a night focused on building genuine connections over food, music and shared conversations and laughter.
- Buffet is all-you-can eat for $25
- Cover fee for the event is $20.
We cannot accomodate tickets without the purchase of the buffet, so tickets are priced at $45 plus platform fees.
Our ticket prices have always been $20 because this has never been a project to make profit, it is a space, a community to make friends and have a good time, and we want it to be accesible to the most number of people possible and support the people who make these happen as we grow.
Use this as an opportunity to introduce your non-bengali friends to the most important part of our culture, our day, our food and our music.
