Happy International Women’s Day from AUW Musical Theatre Society! ✨💜

Today, we proudly celebrated this special day with a powerful performance on Ecofeminism, portraying Mother Nature and Feminism through music and storytelling. Our performance was part of an inspiring event organized by Green Bangle Movement, in collaboration with, AUW Art Club - AAC, AUW Student Government,and AUW Women Empowerment Project- WEP.

Through art and expression, we honor the strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit of women everywhere. Let’s continue to empower, uplift, and fight for a more just and equal world! 🌿💪🎭

Deeply thankful to Mr. Newin’s Mohlang Creatives for these wonderful still captures of our show. ❤️

The Director, Sara Kohlberg, and the entire MTS cast are still overwhelmed with joy and gratitude following the final performance. It made the 9-month journey of rehearsals and hard work completely worth it. We all hope you have enjoyed the journey of all the musicals MTS has brought to you, and we hope to bring more shows in the future. 🙌

A special thanks to She-E-O for their incredible backstage support as an organiser. Their dedicated crew and volunteers made sure everything went smoothly and we’ll remain grateful for them all. 🫶

Directed and produced by Sara Kohlberg and beautifully performed by our student cast at the Chittagong Theatre Institute, last night’s Les Misérables marked a special moment for the AUW Musical Theatre Society.

Originally delayed due to recent student protests in Bangladesh, this performance held a new layer of meaning. Hugo’s story of resilience, justice, and the fight for a better future resonated deeply with current events, connecting the cast and audience alike. We’re grateful for everyone who joined us, and hope the story resonated with you.
