আমাদের সবার মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করার ধরন আলাদা। কেউ চিঠি লিখে প্রকাশ করে, কেউ কবিতায় আবার কেউ গানের মাধ্যমে। গানের মাধ্যমে মনের ভাব প্রকাশ করাটা বহু পুরোনো এবং প্রচলিত একটি ধারা। কেউ কেউ আবার বন্ধু আসার অপেক্ষায় উদাসীন হয়ে আঞ্চলিক গানের মাধ্যমে তার মনকে শান্ত করে আবার কেউ চায় নিজে যেমন তেমন থাকলেও প্রাণের বন্ধু সুখে থাকুক....

"আই ভিজিলে যেমন তেমন,
তুই ভিজিলে পরান ফাঢী যায়"

তেমনি বন্ধুকে বা প্রাণের মানুষকে দেখার আকুলতা ব্যক্ত করে কিছু কথা তুলে ধরেছিলেন চট্টগ্রামের বিখ্যাত একটি আঞ্চলিক গান "ও হালা(কালা) চান গলার মালা" এর মাধ্যমে। সময়ের নানা পরিবর্তনেও ইস্ট ডেল্টা ইউনিভার্সিটি কালচারাল ক্লাবের সকলে শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করছে গানটির মূল সুরকার ও গীতিকার 'আমানউল্লাহ গায়েন' ও মূল শিল্পী 'বুলবুল আক্তারকে'। নব্বই দশকের জনপ্রিয় এই গানটিকে চট্টগ্রামের কমেডি ধাঁচে নির্মিত চলচ্চিত্র "মেইড ইন চিটাগং" ছবিতে নতুনরুপে চট্টগ্রাম এবং পুরোনো দেশের প্রতিটি মানুষের কাছে উপস্থাপন করার জন্য গেয়েছেন বাংলাদেশের জনপ্রিয় শিল্পী পার্থ বড়ুয়া ও শিল্পী নিশিতা বড়ুয়া। এই জনপ্রিয় গানটিতে নৃত্য পরিবেশনার মাধ্যমে সকলের মাঝে মুগ্ধতা ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেছেন ইস্ট ডেল্টা ইউনিভার্সিটি কালচারাল ক্লাবের সদস্যরা এবং এই পরিবেশনাটিকে সুনিপুণভাবে পরিচালনা করেছেন কালচারাল ক্লাবের এডভাইজর সাবরিন সরওয়ার।

What a grand concert it was! EDUCC thanks Banglalink for sponsoring such an amazing concert. A big thanks to the performing bands and the performers to make the event a festive one. Special thanks to Shuvojatra for a tremendous performance.Heartfelt gratitude to each and every volunteer of the program, the Proctor's Office for ensuring security,Registrar's office for logistic support and our Honourable Vice Chairman Sir for gracing the event with his wonderful presence.

Important Notice:
*Only EDU students with IDs will be allowed for the fest
*Students are prohibited from carrying any unwanted objects including intoxicants
*Students are asked to maintain proper behaviour and decorum at the event
*Outside Guests are not allowed
**The previous band is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, we will announce the name of the performing band as soon as possible.

ভাষা একে অপরের সাথে যোগাযোগের এক মাধ্যম হতে পারে তবে মাতৃভাষা এমন একটি বিষয় যা আমাদের সংস্কৃতির সাথে আমাদের সংযুক্ত করে।
সালাম, বরকত, জব্বার, রফিক সহ নাম না জানা আরও ভাষা সৈনিকদের ত্যাগের বিনিময়ে আজ আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের মায়ের ভাষা।
মা যেমন আমাদের সবার কাছে সবচেয়ে আপন তেমনি আমাদের মার্তৃভাষা আমাদের কাছে সবচেয়ে আপন।
বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধাভরে স্মরণ করছি সেদিনের সেই সূর্যসন্তানদের যাদের আত্মত্যাগের বিনিময়ে আজকের এই দিন গৌরবান্বিত।
