বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার মৃত্যুতে শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবারের সদস্যদের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জানাচ্ছি।

দেশের এই সংকটময় মুহূর্তে, যখন সাধারণ মানুষ নিরাপত্তার অভাবে ভুগছেন এবং দেশকে অস্থিতিশীল ও বিরাজনীতিকরণের অপচেষ্টা চলছে, তখন তাঁর এই চলে যাওয়া বাংলাদেশের উত্তরণের পথে এক গভীর প্রভাব ফেলবে।

অতীতের নানা বিরাজনীতিকরণ প্রক্রিয়ার শিকার হওয়া সত্ত্বেও, নিজের দীর্ঘ রাজনৈতিক জীবনে তিনি অসংখ্য সাফল্য অর্জন করেছেন এবং দেশের জন্য বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নীতি নির্ধারণ করেছেন। জাতি গঠনে তাঁর অবদান চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে; তবে তাঁর মৃত্যু বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশকে স্থিতিশীল করার প্রচেষ্টায় একটি বড় ধাক্কা।

তাঁর অসংখ্য সমর্থক ও শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষীদের প্রতি রইল আন্তরিক সমবেদনা।

Deep condolences to bereaved family members on the demise of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. At such a critical time when countrymen are reeling from lack of safety with efforts are underway to destabilise and depoliticise the country, her passing away will leave a deep impact on the country’s transition.

Despite subjected to depoliticization process in the past, throughout her political career she achieved a host of successes and shaped several policies for the country. She will be remembered for her contributions in nation building but her death is a blow to stabilize Bangladesh.

Heartfelt prayers with her countless supporters and well-wishers. #
