তোমার আচরণে আমি আঘাত পেয়েছি,
কিন্তু চিৎকার করিনি।
কোনো অভিযোগ করিনি।
শুধু নিজেকে সরিয়ে নিয়েছি,
তোমার জীবন থেকে নীরবে বিদায় নিয়েছি।
তুমি হয়তো ভেবেছ জয়ী হয়েছো,
কিন্তু সময়ের সাথে সাথে এই নীরবতা তোমার বিবেকের দরজায় কড়া নাড়বে। তুমি হয়তো এড়িয়ে যেতে চাইবে,
কিন্তু নিরবতা থেমে থাকবে না।
কারণ সত্যিকারের প্রতিবাদ কখনো গর্জন করে না, এটা নিঃশব্দে বয়ে চলে
ততক্ষণ, যতক্ষণ না হৃদয়ে অনুশোচনা জন্ম নেয়।
