Happy Fourth of July to everyone here.
Two hundred and fifty years ago the United States declared its independence, which makes today the Semiquincentennial, the 250th. A good day to fly the flag.
The photo shows a pair of F-14 Tomcats from VF-84, the Jolly Rogers, holding formation above a carrier at sea, American naval airpower and the flag it served.
