Join Adrian R. Agard for Episode 18 of Gospelfest Conversations – After the Applause, featuring acclaimed psalmist Shirleyann Cyril-Mayers, often hailed as Saint Lucia’s Queen of Gospel.
Born in Barbados and raised in Saint Lucia, Shirleyann’s gospel ministry spans more than three decades, taking her across the Caribbean and internationally. A recipient of the Saint Lucia Medal of Merit (Silver) and a 2025 Caribbean Music Awards honour for Gospel Music, she joins us to share the journey behind the music, the ministry and the calling.

The Pentecost Worship and Thanksgiving service in conjunction with the ENOCH Network of Churches reminded us that before the music, before the stages and the lineups and the production, there is a God who deserves our praise. That Sunday morning gave Him exactly that.

Pentecost Sunday at Barbados Gospelfest 2026 was something else entirely. Partnering with the ENOCH Network of Churches brought a depth to the Worship and Thanksgiving service that reminded every person in that room why we gather in the first place. Not for entertainment, but for an encounter.
