Theme: Ravurz 2014 Tribute to Sugar Cain is the name of the band this year sponsors band members and prospective revelers and media, special invited guest are invited to attend the launch coming soon. The milling the gold section, the crop burning our red section and cooling the gold section. Each section has front and back line costumes which, also salute the hardworking men and women of the Barbados sugar industry. Lyndon Clarke, who had a dream from way back in the days, while revelling with Cranston Browne. Lyndon always yearned for the day that he would have his own Kadooment band, even as a section leader with Kenny Bovell’s Climbmax band. His dream finally came through, in Ravurz Kadooment Band, which has been around for over five years. The main committee members of Ravurz have been friends for over 15 years, and are a very close-knit family. The Management Team of Ravurz has several years of combined experience in Marketing, Administration, Finance and Event Management, all skills needed for the successful production of the band over the years. Phillip Carnival, and proud producer of the Ravurz costume band for Grand Kadooment Festival which culminates in August. Ravurz is home to numerous overseas revellers hailing from the USA, Trinidad, Grenada, Canada and Guyana, who are often regular visitors to the island. In 2011, we placed third in the Advertising category, and third in Best Small band on the road. Also in 2011, Ms. Shawntelle Marshall, placed third in the flag person category. We definitely are ‘An Experience to Remember for Life’
Not only are we a party band, we are very much involved with our Community. In 2011, as part of our Ravurz community outreach efforts, we succeeded in the collection of toys, clothing and food stuff which we also presented to the St Phillip District hospital. We also partnered with one of our sponsors, Digicel, in painting the St Phillip District Hospital. LC Ravurz Committee:
