As we enter May, I thought I’d share a little on the process for me.

It doesn’t start on stage but rather, in the choosing.
In the questioning.
In the details most people will never see.

Costume selection isn’t just about what looks good.

It’s about what fits the story.
What supports the dancer.
What reflects our standard.

From meaning…
to modesty…
to making sure it actually works logistically, nothing is random.

This is how the story is built.
One piece at a time.
