Resident Evil 2 (1998) — A Survival Horror Classic

Resident Evil 2 remains one of the most important survival horror games ever made. Its dark atmosphere, memorable characters, limited resources and unforgettable Raccoon City setting created a formula that still feels special today.

Compared with the 2019 remake, the original is slower, more old-school and technically dated, but its fixed camera angles, classic soundtrack and original A/B scenarios give it a unique identity. The remake is more cinematic, atmospheric and accessible, with modern controls and visuals, but the 1998 version has a charm and character that cannot simply be recreated.

Over 25 years later, Resident Evil 2 (1998) is still a legendary piece of PlayStation history — not just an old horror game, but a true classic that helped define the genre.

Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex (2001) is a classic 3D platformer where Crash and his friends battle the evil Cortex and his powerful Elementals.
