Official Statement: Intellectual Property Protection & Platform Compliance
To: YouTube Policy & Legal Operations, Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, and Escrow Partners
Regarding: Protection of Original AI-Integrated Compositions (Myrhael)
This is an official notice regarding the creative output, intellectual property, and platform protections for the artist Myrhael (and the distinct production style known as the myrhaeltouch).
As YouTube evolves its policies to differentiate between unoriginal mass-generated AI content and genuine, transformative digital artistry, it is imperative that major music labels and automated filtering systems recognize the distinction.
Please note the following directives:
Originality of Content: Every track released under the Myrhael project consists of original melodies, arrangements, and distinct production aesthetics. While advanced AI technology is utilized as an instrument, the resulting work is a highly processed, unique artistic product.
Protection Against Bad-Faith Claims: YouTube’s updated landscape is designed to eliminate bad-faith actors and protect legitimate digital creators. We expect YouTube and Escrow platforms to actively protect this channel against automated, erroneous copyright strikes or monetization blocks from major labels (Sony, UMG, WMG) who attempt to claim ownership over original, retro-futuristic pop and rock arrangements.
Resolution of Disputes: Any attempt to suppress, mute, or strike Myrhael’s original content will be met with immediate formal counter-notices. We demand that all future automated reviews acknowledge the transformative, original nature of this work in compliance with the platform’s shifting guidelines to protect independent AI artists.
We look forward to maintaining a compliant, protected presence on the platform, free from corporate copyright overreach.
Sincerely,
The Myrhael Production & Legal Team
