Dear Friends of United Cultures,

the pandemic has forced us to stop all our activities and to keep silent, respecting the suffering and despair that this event has caused to billions of people around the world.

But today, in front of the horrors of the war, we feel the duty to break this silence and be close to the people, to express our solidarity and support towards them.

Last night, the second city of Azerbaijan, ***a, was bombed by the . despite the humanitarian truce agreed between the two countries in . This cowardly and senseless act has caused destruction, deaths, and injuries among the , including , , and .

It is not the first attack that the civilian population has suffered since the conflict reignited and it hurts us to think that international diplomacy continues to be silent in the face of this massacre.

The territorial integrity of has been violated for 30 years, the people had to abandon their lands, the lands of their fathers, thousands of young soldiers have sacrificed their lives and, despite that the international law condemns the occupation, still today most of the international leadership is silent, or worse still defends the indefensible.
How long will it be necessary to witness this destruction?

What will have to happen worse in order to finally hear the unanimous voice of international diplomacy condemning these criminal and ferocious acts?

We make an appeal that our friends, all those who have visited , who have known the sense of hospitality of these people, who believe in justice and peace, support the people in this dramatic moment and ask your governments to break the silence and intervene to stop the and of .

As result of pandemic our life completely changed🌏…Important festivals, concerts, film screening were cancelled. ❎
Even the usual things that we used to do before like going restaurant, chatting with friends, having parties seem like a dream now. But all these forced people to be more creative. Several artists, DJs, festivals and organization are taking to livestream to stay engaged with fans and encourage a sense of communal sprit.✌️🙏💥
