🏇 Let's Get Behind Our York Harness Racers! 🏇

On Saturday 20 June, our local harness racing community will be heading to Northam for the Glenroy Chaff York Pacing Cup at Burwood Park, and we'd love to see plenty of York faces there supporting our trainers, drivers and horses.

A huge thank you to Glenroy Chaff for their sponsorship of this feature race and their ongoing support of harness racing in our region. Supporting local sponsors who invest back into country racing helps ensure these great events continue for future generations.

If you've never experienced harness racing before, this is the perfect opportunity. Enjoy an exciting evening of racing, great food from Deb's Diner, bar facilities, full TAB and plenty of country racing atmosphere.

🎈 What a view!

Recently, Liberty Balloon Flights took off from York Racecourse, capturing stunning aerial views of our venue and the beautiful Avon Valley surrounds. The spectacular footage highlights why York Racecourse is a fantastic destination for events of all types, and we hope it's the first of many balloon flights to launch from here.

Now, the countdown is on for a huge York Cup Day on Sunday 8 November. 🏇

📸🏇 HELP US BRING YORK RACECOURSE HISTORY TO LIFE!

As part of our ongoing improvements to York Racecourse, we're creating a beautiful heritage display showcasing the rich history of racing in York, Australia's first provincial racecourse.

We're looking for donations of vintage gold photo frames of all shapes and sizes to help us proudly display historic photographs, memorabilia and stories from the racecourse's past.

If you have any old gold frames gathering dust in a shed, spare room, garage or attic, we'd love to give them a new home!

✨ Donations can be:
• Collected by our volunteers
• Delivered to York Racecourse on Wednesdays or Thursdays

Every frame donated will help preserve and celebrate the incredible history of our club for future generations to enjoy.
