Terrarium classes are now over for July! With each class I grow more and more appreciative of the beautiful terrariums each person has made. To know each person starts with the same materials yet ends up with such wildly different pieces is a really beautiful gift I feel humbled to receive.

One of the best things about holding workshops is meeting people who really make it a good time. I was very fortunate to have my new favourite couple a few weekends ago and the time flew by. It was great seeing their designs grow before our eyes and also having a few laughs in the process. Thanks for the awesome review guys!!

First stage done of my next moss sculpture.

I’ve been using a terrarium environment to grow my moss sculptures but this time I’m going to try a little dish of water to pump that humidity into the (eventual) dome.

Had the great pleasure of running TWO fantastic workshops this week. I love watching people’s creations coming together and was genuinely surprised at the bold creative choices some participants were making to have moss free terrariums. A special thank you to my hens-day class whose enthusiasm was unparalleled!!
