Some of the crawlier bug friends making their way into my next domes!

This is my first first time working with a centipede and man I’m in love! They are phenomenal with all those legs and a wonder to pose. I can’t wait until I’ve finished and have these two pieces up for grabs 🖤❤️

Another workshop done at Emporium3844 and I’m so amazingly proud of the creations that everyone brought to life!!! What a phenomenal bunch of people!

I absolutely adore watching what my class attendees are making and helping where I can. I’m so happy to be doing these and I definitely want to keep at it ❤️

I can’t remember if I ever posted this piece online but gosh it’s my favourite Atlas Moth piece I’ve ever done to date! It’s found it’s forever home but doesn’t mean I can’t still love on it ❤️

Atlas moths are just so wonderful. It’s a shame as adults they don’t last longer as the adults as they actually have no functional mouthparts. They instead survive on resources obtained as caterpillars. I would absolutely love to breed these beauties myself!!

Yesterday I had the chance to restock my shelf at Emporium3844! This is a great little artists collective in Traralgon and has an amazing collection of hand crafted products.

In my restock I have some great items including the ever popular blue butterflies, a Deaths Head Moth frame and lots of colourful domes perfect for gifts!

It’s so lovely to see all these gorgeous domes lined up and see the variety in technique, colour and ex*****on!

I pride myself on bringing something different to each dome. Whether it’s in the arrangement or the focal point, I really think about each of these like a design piece and try to avoid them looking like ‘just a heap of stuff in a dome!’

I have had a small amount of design/ art training prior to vet school and maybe it’s this finally becoming useful 😂

All in all it’s trying to put the art in entomology- the Art By JeddLpu ethos.

Did you know I can do commission work?

This lovely skull was brought to me by an awesome follower that wanted something unique done with it. Together we came up with a forest floor idea which suited the nature of the original skull.

I included some preserved moss, found banskia cones and even some mushrooms that were hand crafted and painted.

Latest coffin creation is of the feline persuasion. A sweet little kitty cat skull (a little paddock find so a bit rustic) with a gorgeous butterfly perched on a chunk of amethyst.

I’m hoping to have my coffin pieces up on the website soon. I’ve also done some recent Deaths Head moths with roses I’ve dried myself

Also I’m contemplating a coffin workshop- would any of you Cool Cats be keen? Shoot me a message if so 🐈‍⬛

You need one of these pretties for your wall right?

And yes they are pretties despite being made of dead things. I like giving tribute to things that have passed (and would normally be discarded) and make them ‘live’ again.

All of these are sourced from either farms (in terms of domesticated species) or hunted pest species.

Get one of these unique pieces and make it a talking point in your home. ❤️

These don’t pop up often as most farmers either breed Poll (non-horned) stock or have them dehorned as young stock to avoid injury. But I managed to get a couple of sets of horns recently and have made up two of these horn arrangements. I won’t have many of these so contact me if you need something pretty with a country flair.

I’ve had this piece for a while but it just wasn’t hitting right to me. So I swapped out for a more main character butterfly and I think it’s there now.

This piece is the only piece I’ve ever done with a boar tusk. Do you think I should work with these more?
