Coming up to Regional Cairns to call a place I'd never heard of, Gordonvale Home for a month with only one person that I'd worked with was definitely a massive challenge to face! But how thankful I am to for putting my name forward to James Ivor to consider me as Cinematographer for his feature film!

I had an incredible weekend attending the 54th ACS National Awards for Cinematography 2024 in Brisbane!
I was nominated for the short film and was so surprised to win the National Judges Merit Award! Thank you so very much to the ACS, the incredible cast and crew that went through a lot to make this film possible and a massive thank you to my family, friends and colleagues I'm so lucky to work with doing what I love!

Can't wait to catch up with everyone at the next one! 🎉🏆🎥

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2022 MumLife! 🎥🌴

I am so grateful for the amazing experience I've just come back from and I loved every second of it! With so much support from my beautiful partner , family, friends, colleagues and new friends I was on cloud nine the entire time. I'm so incredibly proud of our team for making it into a film festival that only a small number of Australian films have screened at and being the top 16 of our section that was selected from 1700 short films around the world!

I cannot wait to continue riding the wave that this film has brought for the team and I. Whilst this feels like a once in a lifetime opportunity, I am now determined more than ever to come back to Cannes with so many other deserving film makers around the world!

Hopefully someday I too can be the inspiration that has been to me, for future cinematographers trying to share beautifully crafted stories to global audiences! See you next time Cannes! 💁🏼‍♂️🎥🌴🎉🥂📸🏆🇫🇷✈️🇦🇺

MumLife is a musical with 5 original indie/pop numbers. It follows first-time mother Sarah, who is pushed to her limit as she struggles to connect with her newborn baby.
