Born in the late 1800s, Art Nouveau was more than just an artistic style, it was a beautiful rebellion against the rigid rules of the past. Artists wanted to bring beauty back into everyday life and create a world where art wasn’t just something you looked at in a gallery… it was something you lived amongst. It escaped the gallery walls and flooded into the world. Architecture, jewellery, posters, furniture, fashion, illustration — Art Nouveau touched EVERYTHING.

And perhaps that’s why it still feels so relevant today. It reminds us that creativity is absolutely everywhere, that nature will always be our greatest inspiration. That the things we use every day can be beautiful. That life can be beautiful and that art can exist absolutely everywhere.

Over 100 years later, we’re still seeing its influence all around us and honestly? I’m still an absolutely obsessed. 🥹✨
