CANCELLED: On Sunday 9th February 2-4 pm we will be holding a themed Life Drawing session at Shirley's.
ISIS the Egyptian goddess. The wonderful Carmen will be modelling.

Hi All! Just letting you all know that we have suspended Thursday evening Life Drawing sessions until further notice.
We will be running costumed/ themed drawing sessions every second Sunday afternoon from 2 til 4. At Shirley's. First session next Sunday 9th February so text or call me on 0439074479 if you are interested in attending. 🙏

Welcome to my business page Emma's Art where is all about Art all the time!

I discovered when I was 21 I would eventually go blind. I was diagnosed with keratoconus and later plucid degeneration. Fortunately I managed to retain enough vision to lead a relatively normal life until I was 2020. I started making Art as a response to my ongoing vision loss and wanting to capture my unique view of the world with low vision.

I love nature, I did a BSc Biological science but rather than going to a career in science I ended up becoming a science and maths teacher, Later, as my vision decreased I went to teaching at TAFE QLD where I could work one-on-one with students.

I try to live as sustainably as possible off grid. We have bees
chickens, ducks , geese and grow our own vegetables. My Art is always about my connection to nature and our Mother Goddess Earth.
