Yesterday I had the absolute joy of stepping into the Year 12 art class at Lake Tuggeranong College to chat all things mosaics, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

It was such an inspiring day being a tiny tessera in their creative journey — watching bold ideas, quirky concepts, and colourful stories slowly piece themselves together. The imagination in that room was next level.

Thank you for having me and letting me be part of the magic for a day ✨

Definitely one of my favorite pieces and happy/sad to see it go ❤️

My French Red Carpet mosaic has found its forever home — and what a journey it’s been ✨

This piece carries a little slice of the South of France, dreamt up during my time at last May while soaking up the magic of an artist residency 🇫🇷 Sun-warmed days, creative sparks, fields of lavender, paddocks filled with red poppies, gorgeous little farm houses and that unmistakable French charm are all woven into every tiny fragment of hand cut glass.

It’s always a little bittersweet letting a special piece go… however it’s lovely to know it’s out in the world, telling its story in a brand new space 💫

We’re OPEN today 10-4pm

Then closed over Easter for a big creative project to commence lift off - stay tuned!

I’m heading off to India for a creative journey. Was trying to get this commission finished before I left. However, life had other plans. Not the sort of thing that can be rushed. In the past anything I have hurried to finish I have ended up not liking. So new me is embracing patience and accepting that things happen when they are meant to ✨

The brief for this was lots of colourful flowers, with her favorite being white daisies 💐

I’ve created some time lately to do some mosaic work for myself. I’m working my way through the Tootsie garden coffee tables to give the garden a bit of a lift. Here’s a sneek peek of what’s coming in this space!

🌹Just like the timeless poem says: "Roses are red, violets are blue, a seat of memories, forever with you."
May this symbol of affection bring comfort and peace to all who visit. 🌹 Let us cherish our loved ones and celebrate their vibrant spirits.

Newest mosaic seat designed and hand built by me installed over the last few days at Norwood Park Crematorium, Mitchell, Canberra. It’s very similar to the last red rose mosaic I did in April which sits at the other end of the garden. They are now a pair ✨

Embracing the Beauty of Mosaic Flowers!

I’m excited to share part of my latest creation: a vibrant mosaic of stunning flowers! Inspired by the flower markets I visited in Aix-en-province, France recently as part of my Artist Residency at La Maison de Beaumont 🌺 Each flower reflects the intricate beauty of nature, celebrating the colors and forms that brought a smile to my heart while i was travelling.

Flowers remind us of the beauty in diversity, just like this mosaic—each piece of tile, cut glass, old jewellery, ceramic shapes, broken floral plate, shells i found on the beach, playing a unique role in the larger picture. The bold hues and delicate shapes come together to create something truly magical. 💖

Let nature's colors inspire us and bring a little brightness into our days! What’s your favorite flower? 🌷💚

Flamingo Painting Class

I’m teaching one of my favorite classes this Saturday evening at Tootsie. There is still a few tickets left!
We look at where you are now, compared to where you’d like to be, and how to take steps to bridge that gap.

Come along to this fun painting class, no previous art experience necessary. We’ll be exploring painting through self expression to create an image of what, where and whom you might look like as your favorite animal. It may be a flamingo or another animal. Flamingo are social animals and live in groups and communities while still being independent, individual and connected to others. Let’s explore this concept more ! This class is back by popular demand.

All materials included, painting instruction, cheese board and a cuppa. BYO if you like.

Some photos from Beaumont de Pertuis where I am staying for my artist residency in the south of France. I’ve been sketching, playing with water colours and taking loads of photos! So excited to be heading home in a few days. Loving it here, and also feeling very grateful for where I live and sharing the joy of creativity in my little space back home.
