The very first thing that happens is that as an individual ‘you’ immediately add to the diversity of a vibrant and social arts community. Then you get to meet with people from all sorts of creative backgrounds and have the opportunity to share ideas and techniques,

learn new skills, share your experience and collaborate with other artists. You can gain easy access to exhibition and display spaces, and to participate in all sorts of arts markets and festivals … any excuse to show off and enjoy art! Bbaa has lots of regular activities that you can join in, for example workshops and group activities at the Trafalgar ArtSpace … clay days, painting/drawing, fibres, mosaic etc. Would you like to become a member of the Baw Baw Arts Alliance? VALE GARY MILES.

Gary passed away on Friday after a long illness.
Gary was a friend and leader in the local art scene. Many Creative Gippsland events were held at Bradley Hall and many tales told. With Open Studio weekends as well as his own exhibitions we were in awe of his vibrant watercolour and oil artworks.
Gary was a legend and will be missed.
Our condolences to Maggie and family.
