Yarrabah Music & Cultural Festival Kick back for Australia's most idyllic coastal music festival.

The Yarrabah Music & Cultural Festival was started in 2012 to
reignite Yarrabah’s century-long legacy of brass music excellence. The festival has evolved from humble beginnings, created originally to debut the newly rekindled Yarrabah Brass Band. Now, it has grown into the ultimate celebration of the most impressive sights, sounds and cultural practices that the Yarrabah community has to offer.

We are proud to present Joe Geia Band, headlining this year’s Yarrabah Music & Cultural Festival!

Through Joe Geia’s iconic songs, powerful storytelling and deep connection to culture, audiences will experience music that honours Queensland’s Blak history and celebrates community, resilience and pride.
Joining Joe on stage are Ruth Ross on violin, Graham Moes on guitar, Phil McKenna on bass and Ayau Fanene on drums — an incredible band bringing the sound to life.

Sand & Sea Dance is a dynamic group, dedicated to nurturing the talents of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth in dance. These dancers are proud to represent our land, sea, animals and their own family stories, as coordinated by dance teacher Caitlin Sands. You can find this group on Facebook and Instagram!
