The process of painting a pet portrait.

I was asked a week ago if i would do a pet portrait commission. I agreed & decided to paint it instead of using my usual coloured pencils as I used to with all my past pet portraits. So here she is. Her name is Dandy, such a little sweetie.
The background colour picks up the lovely colour of her eyes. Acrylic on canvas 49cm x 49cm, with black floating frame. ( not in photo )
I’m pleased to say, it has been very well received. 🐾❤️🐾

Finished.
Macrame Tree of Life.
This took sooo long to make.
I’m not sure I’d want to do it again.
But I’m fairly pleased with the result. 🤗
