University of Texas: $26.5 Billion

Unlike Yale and Harvard, which are both private establishments, the University of Texas is a public institution that was founded in 1883. Located in Austin, this university includes six healthcare facilities and eight colleges, all of which can use its total endowment of $26.5 billion.

Although it is not as affluent as Harvard, it gives an opportunity to gain high-quality education to many more students. To be precise, around 236,000 students are obtaining a degree there at this moment, and the institution is responsible for providing about two-thirds of graduate degrees and one-third of all undergraduate degrees in the whole state.

With its innovative research facilities and sufficient investments, the University of Texas has been recognized as the leading institution in cancer research, with several medical schools and research institutions on its campus. If you are interested in some of the USA’s best public universities, you should definitely give this one a chance.

Yale University: $29.4 Billion

This institution is also a member of the Ivy League and one of the world’s wealthiest universities. Located in New Haven, Connecticut, Yale has also earned the reputation of one of the most beautiful universities with picturesque scenery. Its collective endowment is said to be $29.4 billion, while its research budget alone makes around $881 million.

It is also a well-respected institution for all the history it has standing behind, being one of the oldest higher education institutions in the USA. Studying here is no piece of cake, but if you have a trusted paper writing service to rely on, you should get through your studies with no particular stress or worries.

Yale is actually not its original name: it used to be known as the Collegiate school, but it was renamed after receiving a very generous donation from Elihu Yale, a British-American merchant, and a slave trader.

CARAVAGGIO (1571-1610) – The tough and violent Caravaggio is considered the father of Baroque painting, with his spectacular use of lights and shadows. Caravaggio’s chiaroscuro became so famous that many painters started to copy his paintings, creating the 'Caravaggisti' style.

JOSEPH MALLORD WILLIAM TURNER (1775-1851) – Turner is the best landscape painter of Western painting. Whereas he had been at his beginnings an academic painter, Turner was slowly but unstoppably evolving towards a free, atmospheric style, sometimes even outlining the abstraction, which was misunderstood and rejected by the same critics who had admired him for decades

Claude Monet

Perhaps the best know artist among the Impressionists, Monet captured the changeable effects of light on the landscape through prismatic shards of color delivered as rapidly painted strokes. Moreover, his multiple studies of haystacks and other subjects anticipated the use of serial imagery in Pop Art and Minimalism. But the same token, his magisterial, late-career lily pond paintings foreshadowed Abstract Expressionism and Color-Field Abstaction.

Jackson Po***ck

Hindered by addiction, self-doubt, and awkwardness as a conventional painter, Po***ck transformed his faults in a short but intense period between 1947 and 1950 when he performed the drip ideas that connected his fame. Avoiding the easel to lay his paintings flat on the floor, he used house paint right from the can, throwing and dropping thin skeins of pigment that left behind a solid record of his movements.

Michelangelo

Michelangelo was a triple threat: A painter (the Sistine Ceiling), a sculptor (the David and Pietà) and architect (St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome). Make that a quadruple warning since he also wrote poetry. Aside from the aforementioned Sistine Ceiling, St. Peter’s Basilica and Pietà, there was his tomb for Pope Julian II and the design for the Laurentian Library at San Lorenzo’s Church.

Henri Matisse

No artist is as intimately attached to the delights of colour as Henri Matisse. His work was all about twisted curves rooted in the ideas of symbolic art and was constantly concentrated on the beguiling satisfaction of colour and tone.
