To all women navigating perimenopause: you are not alone.
As a sole business owner, teacher, and someone who also works a full-time 9-to-5 job, I understand how challenging this stage of life can be. The fatigue, brain fog, mood changes, and feeling that you're not quite operating at your usual capacity can be frustrating and overwhelming.
For me, there were times when I felt like I was lagging behind and struggling to keep up with the demands of work, business, and daily life. What has helped tremendously is maintaining regular physical training and exercise , for me it’s pole fitness. While it doesn't make the symptoms disappear, it helps me manage my energy, clear my mind, and feel more in control of my body.
Perimenopause can sometimes feel like it is taking over, but it doesn't define who we are. Understanding the changes happening in our bodies, being kind to ourselves, and prioritising our health can make a significant difference.
If you're experiencing similar challenges, know that many women are walking the same path. Seek support, listen to your body, and remember that taking care of yourself is not a luxury—it's a necessity.
You are stronger than you think, and you don't have to go through this journey alone.
