I currently have an abundance of grimoires but I want to make more because clearly I don’t know when to stop 🙄 so need to clear some shelf space.
20+% off these ones.

All are completely hand made. 110gsm paper, traditionally hand stitched and bound in handcrafted covers including various embellishments, embossed lettering, gilding etc.
Pick up can be arranged from Marrickville or in store .

Recovered from a drained cypress marsh within the Atchafalaya Basin during the drought of 1902. The extremity exhibits heavy dermal scaling, elongated phalanges and pronounced interdigital webbing, suggesting an organism capable of both terrestrial locomotion and aquatic propulsion.

Several trappers operating along the bayou reported sightings of what they described as a “green man of the water” disturbing fishing lines and small livestock along the marsh edge.

While such accounts are commonly dismissed as regional superstition, the morphology of the recovered limb suggests the possibility of an undocumented saurian humanoid species inhabiting the deeper swamp channels.

Or in simplified terms….a reptillian hand I sculpted from polymer clay 😏
Complete with timber box adorned with museum style classification, expedition field note and shipping labels.

I made this a few weeks back but forgot to post it 🙄
Coffin shaped storage/jewellery box.
Constructed from heavy weight book board and papier-mâchéd in aged parchment.
Embossed raised lettering to the lid, accompanied by a hand sculpted clay ribbon with skull and clay bone border.
Finished with a blood red interior.
Perfect for storing little keepsakes, like the teeth and hair of your enemies….😏

Never really have a clear plan when I start anything. Just knew I wanted some kind of scales and four fingers.

Mummified alchemical homunculus from the Mortlake Archive.
Hand sculpted and painted with leathery peeling skin and one cloven hoof.
Housed in a hand crafted box, wrapped in aged parchment, on a bed of coconut fibre.
Archival labels, brass and cord closure and small specimen label attached to the creature.

I’m going to start including acquisition certificates with some of the pieces I make as I expand my Mortlake Archive collection. One will be with this piece as per the last photo.
