It’s been a fungus frenzy in the workshop this week.
🍄Whimsical AF mushroom men….their caps lift off to reveal a little secret stash bottle inside 😉
🍄‍🟫Framed mushroom scenes with starry backgrounds, faux moss and little snails.
🍄A mushroom garden in a lantern, again with moss and snails.
🍄‍🟫And a few little single ones (have lots more of these in the works, have just run out of time).
Each piece is hand sculpted, painted and sealed.
They’ll all be heading up to Mid Mountains Vintage tomorrow.

I’m also working on a few plants. With teeth. And tentacles. Obviously.

Entirely hand made and painted, from the figure itself to the box and the faux winding mechanism.
The spring provides a little ‘wobble’ but it is intentionally nonfunctional and designed as a permanently opened sculptural display piece rather than a toy.
A reasonable size, roughly 10x10x30 if memory serves….i made a lot this week and my memory is shot.
$180 in store Mid Mountains Vintage.

This was a blast to make so I’ll be creating other ‘Jacks’ in the future. I’ve done Jack O’ Lantern. Jack the Ripper and Jack Sparrow spring to mind 🤔 open to other suggestions as always 😊

I’ve had a busy making week.
A floating grim reaper sculpture, two Jack in the boxes, two pumpkin head scarecrows, 16 altar candles, 16 coffin cards and 55 bookmarks 😅
Shall post better ‘not in direct sunlight, I’m too tired to think’ photos later

I’ve got lots of bottles at home that are too big for potions but too good for my hoarder heart to discard so I decorated a few this week.
Steampunk, raven, skulls, floral snake and kraken.
Made with found objects, clay, recycled paper, paint, gilding waxed etc.
I’ve got lots more bottles and lots more random bits and bobs so will make some more.
Any suggestions for themes/styles etc welcome 😊

Each has a little gold chain and charm attached.
I’ll make other series when my fingers recover from the repetitive cutting, glueing and laminating.
