Looking for a gift with a difference or a treat for youself? Why not come into the centre and check out all of the art works we have for sale. All of our pictures are created by local residents. We have a diverse range of styles from small to large. There is sure to be something you will love!

This Saturday (23rd of May) we are holding our second charity sewing day for the year. This is sewing library bags for Dandelions WA. These library bags are given to children in a backpack with other essentials items for school. If children don't have a library bag they cannot take a book home to read.
They are easy to make and we will make as many as we can. We have fabric and tools on hand. If you would like to help please bring a sewing machine if you have one. There is also cutting and other things that need to be done.
We made approximately 140 last year!

This Saturday morning (25th April) we are having a busy bee to make small items to donate to Comfort Quilts Against Cancer to sell for their fundraising.
We are inviting the community to come and participate in this busy bee for this worthwhile cause. Any amount of time you can spare will be appreciated.
We are starting at 9am and will finish sometime in the afternoon.
Please bring your sewing machine (if you have one). Also, bring your lunch if you would like to stay for the day. Coffee, tea and morning tea supplied.

Today we had a Watercolour workshop with mandyevansartist.com and learnt heaps about colour, mixing colours and colour theory. We all went home with a beautifully painted box filled with 48 colours of paint made by Mandy herself. I'm sure we will all be using these as soon as we can! Thanks to Mandy for travelling from Beverley and to those who came from other towns to attend this workshop.

Our art day is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month. We start at 9am and finish at 12 noon, working on our current projects.
This is a social get together for like minded people who like to paint, sketch, draw or colour in.
All levels are welcome!

Yesterday we had our first workshop for the year with Di Hocken from All About Glass. 12 ladies learnt how to make a stained glass picture which they turned into hangers for their windows. The results were fantastic and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

If you are interested in doing this workshop we may run it again this year. Please message us to register your interest.
