100 years ago, an open-air theatre gave Globe Lane its name. The years brought change, and a city grew up around it – with a theatre, a cinema, a park all coming and going, but leaving behind a Lane at the beating heart of the Gong.

From theatre lights to late nights, Globe Lane’s always been centre stage – a place where Wollongong comes together, for stories, for company, and for a bit of magic in between – a place it remains today, night and day.
