🐶 I started painting dogs in 2016 for my year 12 HSC Body of Work. I was deeply inspired by colours palettes that work well together. Following that year I extended my doggo work to textiles and sewing, then moving on to a more realistic theme while still keeping the bright colours I love. All these works are hanging up in my parents and childhood home. With the amount of work I put into most of these works, they’ll stay with me forever 😅 -

I have a few works on display at the moment in the Building Glass Houses group exhibition by the ladies at ✨

These works explore a fragile identity of mine when going through the height of my eating disorder when in the bathroom. The bathroom is a location that I always looked at my body and picked it apart. It was where my eating disorder voice would be the loudest at times I wasn’t doing my best. Stoked to say the third painting is sold too!

Opening night this Friday at from 6pm! Come on down and endulge yourself in wonderful art, some free food and drinks, and good company 🖼
