If you like your riffs fuzzy, your grooves hypnotic, and your gigs a little bit chaotic. Flower Field Folly are bringing exactly that energy to TFM DOES FRIDAY THE 13TH.

Pulling from grungy alt-rock, doom-tinged heaviness and psychedelic sludge vibes. Flower Field Folly craft a sound that feels like it crawled out of the swampy suburbs, gritty, atmospheric and unpredictable. 

Their sets move between crushing riffs and hazy, mid-tempo moments that pull you into the noise before dropping you right back into the pit. This is the kind of band that makes a room feel loud even before the first breakdown hits.

TFM DOES FRIDAY THE 13TH 🩸🔪

As I’ve said, bad decisions will be made.

THIS FEELS METAL is bringing a stacked, unhinged lineup to Bad Decisions Bar for the most cursed night on the calendar. Four bands, four flavours of chaos, one very unlucky Friday.

Leading the charge are Tongue Scum. A Naarm grind power-trio known for short, violent blasts of grindcore and powerviolence that hit fast and leave the room spinning. Expect pure underground filth and zero breathing room between riffs. 

Joining them are Flower Field Folly, conjuring alternative psychedelic sludge straight out of the swampy suburbs of the Dandenong Mountains. Their trippy sludge riffs, convulsing tempo shifts and cosmic body-horror lyricism pull you into a surreal world where moss, concrete and industry collide.

Then there’s Rattleback, a Melbourne punk wrecking crew running bass, drums and vocals with no guitarist. Just raw (ITS FOCKIN RAW), fast hardcore punk loaded with powerviolence energy and politically charged grit. It’s loud, stripped back, and built for packed rooms and sweaty pits. 

Opening the night are Raise The Fallen, a four-piece hardcore/deathcore unit erupting out of rural Victoria. They bring bone-crushing breakdowns, relentless aggression and a live set that hits like a sledgehammer.

If you’ve ever trusted TFM with your Friday night… this is one of those shows.

TFM RETURNS HOME w/ MIDNIGHT ALIBI ⚡️

Midnight Alibi are hitting the stage later in the night at Soden’s and trust me, that slot suits them perfectly 🌙

When the room’s packed, the drinks are flowing and the energy’s already high… that’s when Midnight Alibi step in and take it up another level. Big hooks, driving riffs and that late-night atmosphere that just hits different.

They’re not here to warm you up, they’re here to lock you in. Expect a full room, voices up, and the kind of set that keeps the momentum rolling hard.
