Want to send a big shout out to Magnum Pi Jason and his partner for the great lunch today, the beef brisket pie hit the spot. If you’re after a quality pie, roll or something sweet you should definitely go check them out on 300 Burnley St Richmond. Next door to St Bartholomew’s church.
You might be thinking… What the hell does this have to do with Union Heights and/or Melb hip hop/graffiti?
Well, Jason’s an old school writer from way back, rolled around and did his thing back then. We’re all about supporting our community & I t’s great to see him get back on his feet and pushing his passion for great food, and yeah, we’re here to celebrate that.
Bit of a back story for those interested. Back in September 2025 they lost everything to a fire. All the ovens, equipment, even his age old hand written recipe book which held the key to his success, devastating to say the least.
This came at a time when his business was gaining momentum online and lots of love from the local community. He was building an empire for his family and the fire brought it all to a standstill.
Fast forward to today. He’s back in the game ,opened a new store on Burnley Street with the second one on the way.
So, get down there when you’re in the area and grab a pie or roll, you won’t be disappointed.
Support local, support the hip hop/graf community.
