After a huge day today our good mate Delores Butterball needs our help … so cruise on into her shop on Rutherglen Street Newborough & get a delish loaf or three

Hey guys,

I'm struggling a bit this week and I've made the decision not to attend Glengarry on Sunday and stay a bit closer to home. I've got all the doughs resting in the fridge in anticipation for tonight's bake, so I'm giving it one last push and I'll be opening the shop tomorrow for all kinds of fresh loaves!

If you could do me a huge favour and share this post or tag a mate this tired little baker would really appreciate it!

Sundays are great days for a lazy loaf, and we all need to carb up for the winter.

We're open 10am - 2pm at 34 Rutherglen road, Newborough. Look for the tacky blue and white streamers!

So that's a wrap for the first Willow Grove Winter Market ... what a day we have had.
Firstly to my stall holders ... thank you thank you thank you for taking a chance on an idea that maybe the Willow Grove CFA winter market would work. Without you today would never have happened so thank you.
Secondly to all the people who braved the elements to come out to the Willow Grove Hall to see what all the social media posts were all about. Without your support our stall holders would not be able to do the thing that makes them smile each & every weekend. So THANK YOU.
Thirdly to the Willow Grove & District Lions Club & Willow on Main thank you for your cooking & coffee skills they were greatly appreciated. Thank you to The Tipsy Heifer for allowing the stall holders to park in their car park it was greatly appreciated.
Last but by no means least I personally would like to thank all the Willow Grove CFA members who volunteered their time to help me get this monster up & running. Thank you for talking me down when things started looking like they were going to go pear shaped yesturday ... in the end we all got it sorted & I am grateful for all of your help.
So where to now ... Saturday 18th July is only 4 weeks away & I am confirming with all of our June stall holders on their availability for July & August markets. This being said at this point WE ARE FULL FOR JULY!!! If anyone wishes to be added to our waitlist please email [email protected] & I will send you an application form.
Once again thank you to everyone who has made today possible I appreciate you all.

OMG the day has finally arrived ...I am about to leave home to open up the Willow Grove Hall. Our first EVER Winter Market ... are you excited I know I am!!!🥳🤩this is going to be EPIC
Several stall holders set up yesturday afternoon & the rest will set up this morning & are all very excited to see you all.
The Willow Grove & District Lions Club will have the BBQ sizzling with snags & bacon & eggs for all of your brekkie needs.
Willow on Main will have the coffee machine pumping out the caffeine fixes for us all.
The Tipsy Heifer will have their kitchen running like clockwork to cook you a to die for meal along with their amazing bar staff ready to make you the beverage of your choice ... I can highly recommend the Expresso Martini (the one made with chocolate & Kracken😉)
The Hill End FNC will be bouncing celebrating 100yrs of football with a home game.
So come along say hi & spend a little bit of time in our wonderful community we would love to see you👋🥰

Only 2 sleeps to go & here is our full list of stall holders. Now due to some weird FB thing I cannot tag any of the stalls, but I will in the comments. The Willow Grove & District Lions Club will have all your snags in bread & egg & bacon sangas ready. Willow on Main will have the coffee machine flowing. The Tipsy Heifer will have there full menu available for lunch. If you wish to catch a local football game then wander down to the Hill End FNC & watch the game whilst helping to celebrate 100 years of football for our club.

We are now down to the pointy end of the stick, the final count down, the call for last drinks ... that's right we are ONE WEEK OUT from the inaugural Willow Grove Winter Market 🥳🤩 all of our stall holders are putting the final touches on their stock & the market coordinator is getting greyer with each passing minute 😜 waiting for approval for the road signage ...
Now don't forget that it is a huge weekend for the town with the Hill End FNC celebrating their 100th year so please be patient as the main road through town will probably be extremely busy.
The Tipsy Heifer will be serving their full delsih 🤤menu please book & Willow on Main will have coffee & cafe food available.
Willow Grove & District Lions Club will be cooking up a storm with snags in bread & egg & bacon sangas.
We look forward to seeing you all next Saturday 20th June doors open to the public from 8:45am till 1pm
