The Whyalla Show is a two- day show and is the biggest annual show held on Eyre Peninsula. As well as providing the traditional show activities for agriculture, horticulture and other activities it has the largest array of sideshows in South Australia, outside of the Royal Adelaide Show.

Christmas on the Avenue is coming up fast and we are now opening up to stall holders to put in an expression of interest. The event will be November 29th and we are looking for food vendors and stalls for the after pageant fair and Corals. Please message or send an email to [email protected] for an application.

Well that's another successful show finished.
Thank you so much to the stall holders, entertainers and public who came to enjoy the show. Your positive comments and Facebook posts are appreciated.
The entertainment this year bought some new elements such as Tartan Muscle, we had back by popular demand our wood chopping demonstration and Aston circus was a hit. The animals never fail to be very popular and this year we had more than ever, we are glad to support Darcy's travelling farm and her rescue animals. 15 minutes of amazing fireworks were definitely noticed and we have had great feedback. There was a huge variety of shopping and food.

A massive shout out to our hard working committee who work extremely long hours and the team of volunteers and community groups that helped us this year. Its a huge job that takes 2 weeks to set up, run and pack up.

Thank you to our sponsors who support us each year and really see the value in helping us put on Whyalla's biggest event.

Without a of these elements coming together we would not be able to put on such a successful and entertaining event.

Time for the very small committee to have a well earned rest and let our bodies recover from working 14-18 hr days to serve our community. We really do need more committee members to help us continue to bring you this amazing event. Many hands make light work.

Its very physical work but gives you a huge sense of pride to know what we do for the majority of the town and region. Our AGM is coming up on November 18th at 7:00pm at the show office. If you are interested in helping to keep Whyalla's biggest event going for the community please message us to find out what's involved.

Again thank you to everyone who volunteered, entered in a competition, performed or just came to enjoy the weekend. The Whyalla Show is an event run by the community for the community.

You know what they say; Variety is the spice of life! And when it come to the food out here out at the Whyalla show we have a delicious variety of food! From the show classics like dagwood dogs and hot chips and donuts, to tasty dishes like pizza, loaded chips, paella, and curry.
