Hi everyone.

It’s been a few days and now that the shock and anxiety has subsided I wanted to say hello to you all. As many of you know by now I had an accident with my clown trailer on Thursday evening and it is a complete rid off.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what to do and after speaking with family and friends I’ve decided I’m going to repair my laughing clowns.

After reading all the amazing support for so many people its made me realised how much of a difference I was really making. Yes you paid to play however there was always the offer to have a second chance if you got close to winning a big prize or even free games because I could. I chose to replace all the old carnival toys that are generally used in games like mine and stocked it with toys and items I’d want my own boys playing with. Everything from soft toys and little character backpacks to keyrings and paint by numbers were given out to everyone that played. Everyone won a prize no matter what even if it was mums or dad playing for their kids and it was just the most wonderful experience as both a mother and business owner

Since my accident on Thursday the community outpouring has been humbling and I can excitedly say I have been approached by a wonderful individual who has offered assistance in getting me back up and running by working with me to build a new trailer.

One of my amazing colleagues in the events space has kindy set up a go fund me page which, against my better judgement I have decided to share. I’ve alway been fiercely independent and this was going to be no exception however I’ve now realised I can’t do it on my own. If you have the opportunity to donate it will go back into getting this nostalgic game back up and running and I will forever be grateful for your support.

I’m 100% committed to bringing the clowns back to life and getting back out in my community bringing joy to those who play with me. It won’t happen over night but I’m sure you will see me out again in the new year.

In the mean time I would love, if you feel comfortable, you to share your photos of your family laying the clowns. Being on the other side and often busy I never really get the chance to see the kids enjoying the game. I’ve often take photos standing behind the clowns of family’s (with permission) because it offers a wonderful photo perspective the you don’t usually get to see. It would make me so happy to see your little ones playing again and having fun at the laughing clowns.

I’ll share some photos over the next few weeks when I start dropping my toys to local charities for everyone to enjoy. Today I dropped a massive bag of soft toys to the Brothers Inc charity bike ride ending in Carisbrooke park in Salisbury. I also gave them 400 party bags to give out the to kids who attended just to make the day a bit more fun.
