Family Fun Arts Exploration

Dearest family fun arts explorers of the bravest, sweetest, most creative kind!

Today will sadly have to be the last regular Family Fun Thursday class. I've accepted a job at Cowan Community Center and will soon be moving into my new home in Pike Co.

While I'm super excited for it all, I'm sad to be leaving this amazing program at AAC and our weekly art making ventures. We've created some beautiful art magic together, and I'm so grateful for all of you who have attended FFAE throughout it's journey.

Today, we'll be painting away!! Come join me for one last group mural making, paint slinging adventure at AAC 5-6:30. We'll be working with mainly tempora paint, but there is the chance for some acrylic that could stain clothes, so try to wear something you don't mind getting paint on! All ages welcome, young and old.

Y'all the AC still isn't working at the Artisan Center, and with this hot day, we're going to have to cancel Family Fun tonight!

I'll update on Tuesday whether we'll be able to offer it next week. So sorry everyone! Hopefully we'll be able to have it next week

Heads-up for class tonight yall -- neither the elevator or the AC at the Appalachian Artisan Center are working 😫 class tonight will be a little warm and up.on the 2nd floor, but we'll be here making art 5-6:30!

Come in through the front main door and stairs are almost immediately on your left ❤

Family Fun is back!! This Thursday, Aug 25th 5-6:30pm! We'll be having class at Appalachian Artisan Center on the 2nd floor conference room (to the right of the stairs). It will just be family craft making as our ceramics studio will be out of commission for a while.

Just found out the elevator is not working so this class will not be fully accessible 😭 we will update if we can find a different space to hold class!

Can't wait to see everyone!

Both Kirk and I have some travel coming up these next 3 weeks! We'll be back to our regular weekly schedule starting Thursday, Aug 11th!
