UNLEASHED 2K26, WHAT A DAY.
Last Saturday was one of those days that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
We arrived at Dundas Sports Club by 9am and got straight into it, loading in, setting up instruments, running cables, sound checking and making sure every act had their EQ levels dialled in and was ready to hit that stage.
Then at 1:15pm, UNLEASHED 2K26 began.
And we didn’t finish until 8pm!
What happened in between was something pretty special.
So many performances.
So many proud families.
So many nerves turned into smiles.
So many moments where our students stepped onto that stage and showed everyone what months of lessons, rehearsals, mistakes, persistence and hard work can become.
Every single act did incredibly well, and we could not be prouder of them all.
For us, teaching music has never just been about learning an instrument or singing a song.
It’s about teaching students about the music industry, preparation, discipline, teamwork, confidence, professionalism and what it takes to put on a real live show.
They experienced the whole process, not just the performance.
And seeing them up there enjoying their moment made every early morning, every cable, every soundcheck and every hour of preparation worth it.
This is why we do what we do.
A massive thank you to the incredible people behind the scenes who helped make the day happen:
Andrew ~ our sound engineer, for keeping everything sounding amazing throughout a huge day.
Shane & Jenny ~ for looking after the door and welcoming everyone.
Meg ~ for capturing and sharing the day across our socials.
Neil ~ for jumping in and helping Cha and Andrew with both the load-in and load-out. An enormous help.
And a huge thank you to Dundas Sports Club for once again giving our students a venue and a stage where they can have these experiences.
And finally, to our students, parents, families and friends, thank you for believing in what we do and supporting these performers.
UNLEASHED 2K26, you gave us a day we won’t forget.
