HUGYAW is a group of Filipino-Tasmanian performers based in Hobart, Tasmania that aims to become Tasmania’s premiere Philippine Performing Arts Group and pay homage to the colourful Philippine heritage through music (song and dance performances), fundraising events and activities, and food festivals as well as to provide a platfo

rm to embrace the Filipino culture and cultivate a sense of pride and distinctive identity. HUGYAW aims to raise awareness to the wider Tasmanian community about the richness and uniqueness of the Philippine culture.
