We are looking forward to learning from the amazing Tracy Videon at this year's Western Bands Festival!

We are honoured to announce that our clinician for the 2026 Western Bands Festival is Tracy Videon!

Tracy has been a passionate music educator for over 40 years, teaching instrumental music in many schools across Melbourne and in country New South Wales. She is currently the Concert Band Co-ordinator at McKinnon Secondary College, where she has directed the orchestra and bands at all levels. A low brass player, singer and conductor whose performance experience includes some 24 years as a musician in the Australian Army, 8 years as Musical Director of the Melbourne Rainbow Band, and various roles in community ensembles and musical theatre, Tracy is now a member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus. She is also pursuing a PhD in Music Performance (Conducting) at the University of Melbourne and recently spent several months researching and conducting at the University of Georgia, USA. Tracy has been recognised with the Australian Band and Orchestra Directors’ Association (Victoria) Certificate of Excellence for outstanding achievement and contribution to music education.

We are excited to have Tracey share her expertise and knowledge with us.

Werribee Concert Band is excited to once again be performing in the Western Bands Festival! We are honoured to be performing alongside our fellow community bands, Melton Concert Band, Westgate Concert Band, and Sunshine Community Brass.

Come along for a free afternoon of excellent music making!

We are very excited to announce that the Western Bands Festival is coming back for 2026! We will be featuring four incredible bands, celebrating community music in Melbourne's Western Suburbs. We look forward to seeing you there!

This event is supported by Wyndham City through the 2026 Make Music Day Grants.
