Cool kids and took on life drawing at and reported having fun doing so! For Paul and Nick it was their first time and instantly bugged Lan to take them to more. Yay for learning through networking and trying new things.

OUT THERE - Sustainable & Wearable Art Workshops: Tarneit Community Learning Centre with various dates from 24th August - 15th September hosted by . Register or find out more via the link in our bio! Workshops are suitable for ages 15+

"Out There" tackles our perception of clothing and textile waste while highlighting creating without social limitations. Save discarded materials from going into landfill add an idea and construct a piece of ‘clothing’!

Connor's residency is in full swing and they've already been having a lot of fun! Now with these one off workshops you can learn about their practice, why textile waste is such a massive problem and collect some currently unloved material to make a piece of wearable art alongside them!

They’ll be happy to offer a little sewing knowledge and be on call should you want to come in and create with them at anytime during their residency as well. At the end they will get in touch and take some photos of you in your finished look and compile them into a final book/zine which you will get a copy of!

Congratulations to on her 2022 Wyndham Art Prize People’s Choice winning work, a self-portrait drawing on paper titled 'Solitary'.

Michelle said she was definitely taking a risk with both a self-portrait and largest work she'd ever completed (a massive A0). Michelle felt it is very encouraging that such a personal challenge has been appreciated.

The people’s choice winner is the final prize announced as part of the 2022 Wyndham Art Prize. This year’s exhibition has received acclaim and feedback from audiences and exhibiting artists and is a signature exhibition in our annual visual art program.
