A big thank you to friends of the band Al and Riley for supporting us and capturing these shots last weekend at Grange Social Bowls Club for Brisbane Metropolitan Bands.
We love playing for appreciative and excited audiences, and have some extra fun things lined up over the next few months... stay tuned!

We absolutely love our Bands im Parks gigs, and have the best time choosing music and themes to suit each concert! This Saturday's theme is Winter Wonderland. 🧊🧥 What are we actually playing? Come along and find out!

💫We recently received a call from Joan Pease MP with the wonderful news that SRCB has been awarded a significant grant from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund Queensland!

This funding will help us continue to share our music with the community, with new percussion equipment, tech devices, sheet music and other essentials to support rehearsals, performances, and community engagement. 🥁🎶

We’re proud to be one of quite a number of local organisations receiving this support - a big congratulations to all the other community grant recipients!

A huge thank you to GCBF for this incredible support - we look forward to continuing to share the joy of our band and our music with you all! 💫

SRCB's 2026 committee had a delicious (sorry, productive) meeting last night over dinner. Concert planning, grants discussions, collaborations and how to improve us as a community band continuing forward - great times ahead for !

Our final piece for Nationals was the super fun and challenging East Wind March by Takashi Hoshide.

We love the bright, spirited feel, and the beautiful, uniquely Japanese-style concert band sound of this stage march!
