🎶 We Sing – A Free 2026 Community Choir Project!

We Sing is a fully funded community engagement project for primary and secondary students (ages 8–18) across the Geelong region, proudly supported by a City of Greater Geelong Community Strengthening Grant.

• 2 FREE weekend workshops

• Beginners welcome

📍 Workshops:
24 & 31 May (Harold Mitchell Hall, Deakin Uni Waurn Ponds)

Students will perform two massed choir works alongside GYC - a joyful celebration of community singing.

🎶What a wonderful weekend at Choralfest 2026! Cantore sang in some stunning locations such as Piano Bar, Wool Museum, and Costa Hall. Everyone had the best time making new connections and creating unforgettable experiences. Thanks to our music director Phillipa McQuinn, and accompanist Stefanie Gumienik for helping Cantore to shine! ✨ 🎶

🎶 Registrations are now OPEN for Geelong Youth Choir 2026! 🎶

We’re so excited to welcome new and returning singers to our 2026 programs. If your child loves to sing (or is keen to give it a go), GYC offers a supportive, inclusive and high-quality music experience for young people aged 8–18.

✨ Our choirs include:
🎵 Prelude Choir (Ages 8–10)
🎵 Cantore Choir (Ages 10–18)
– Highly qualified conductors
– Musicianship & aural training using the Kodály method
– Regular concerts and special performance opportunities
– Rehearsals held at Deakin Uni, Waurn Ponds

🎤 ALSO RETURNING IN 2026
Voices of Geelong will also be running on Wednesday nights, 7:00–8:30pm, led by the wonderful Kym Dillon and Stefanie Gumienik.
