Survival of the Fittest...
We are pushing the boundaries with what is possible for ☯️
We love animals of just about every kind...but some of the information online just isn't reality.
If you take a moment to think logically about where a lot of fish especially live in the wild...(Storm events, pollution and human interference etc takes place quite often)
The fish in their natural habitat therefore experience major swings in temperature fluctuations, parameter changes (ph, salt content and even "ammonia spikes")
We love these fish and wanted to see what is possible in regards to them living through the cool temps of winter here in some places of Australia and what species will not only survive...but thrive 🏞️
We're approaching the halfway point and only have 1 species showing I'll effects...(We have spare breeders in a heated tank to make sure we can keep these beautiful fish long term)
But until we have the funds to get a proper off grid solar power setup...
We are absolutely pushing the limits and honestly 99% of the species are going great 💙
