Warwick’s winter festival sees a transformation of the CBD streets into a living gallery, with more than 100 handmade “tree jumpers” that inspire and charm spectators even on the coldest of winter days. Jumpers and Jazz in July began in 2004 and nine years later the quirky “tree jumper” project has expanded into a ten day art and music festival. Visitors to Warwick are invited to immerse themselve

s in a program of exhibitions and events that range from a beaut family night around the Fire Drums of Killarney to indulging with a fine local wine to the sounds of elegant jazz at a charming country hotel. The festival program is an eclectic mix of events that, at their core, reflect our relaxed lifestyle and country hospitality. Be entertained by live Jazz performances by some of South Queensland’s most popular jazz musicians to the backdrop of colourful knitted graffiti or a warm winter fire.

💙 HAPPY FATHER’S DAY 💙

This Sunday, September 6th, is all about celebrating the wonderful men who make a difference in our lives.

To all the dads, granddads, stepdads, foster dads, father figures and the special men who have stepped up with love, guidance and support, we hope you know just how appreciated you are.

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR JUMPERS AND JAZZ COMMUNITY 💙

As we wrap up another incredible Jumpers and Jazz in July, we wanted to celebrate one very special part of our festival wrap up, the results of our Visitor Experience Survey!

🎉 Congratulations to Sheena Ruddick, a proud local to the Southern Downs, who is the lucky winner of our $100 gift card!

When we asked Sheena what she loved most about the festival, she told us it was the Yarntopians jellyfish cave and all the trees. 🪼🌳

But her favourite memory was even more special.

She found the tree decorated by her daughter’s childcare centre, and her three year old discovered the little “spoon” that she had decorated and contributed to the tree. 🥹❤️

It’s moments like this that make Jumpers and Jazz so special. When our festival becomes part of family memories and our community comes together to create something truly unique.

And to everyone who took the time to complete our survey, THANK YOU! 🙏

Your feedback is incredibly important. It helps us understand what you loved, what made your visit special and how we can continue to shape the future of Jumpers and Jazz, keeping the festival sustainable, relevant and, most importantly, amazing.

✨ A HUGE THANK YOU TO THE WARWICK TURF CLUB! 💛🎷

As we continue to reminisce on what was an absolutely incredible Jumpers and Jazz in July, we want to take a moment to shine the spotlight on one very special venue… the Warwick Turf Club Inc 🌟

We honestly cannot express just how amazing this venue is. This year, we were incredibly proud to host two of our signature events here:

🎷 Twilight Jazz and Blues

Both events were made even more special because of this incredible location, and we are so grateful to the entire Warwick Turf Club team for helping bring them to life.

A very special thank you to Kristen, Eric and the entire team for your support, hard work and warm welcome. You helped create two truly memorable festival experiences, and we couldn’t have done it without you. 💛

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year and bringing these two much loved events back to this incredible venue! 🎶🍷

🎷 We're already looking ahead to Jumpers and Jazz in July 2027! 🧶

One of the questions we've been asked the most since this year's festival wrapped up is... "When are the 2027 dates?"

Well, we're excited to share them!

🪼The Yarntopians began the process of putting their Submerged installation into storage today 😭 The festival went so fast, as usual!

Team coordinator Loretta Grayson expressed her gratitude:

It was wonderful to see familiar faces, meet team members from afar and watch first time festival goers experience the special magic the Yarntopians create together. I’m so lucky to get to work with such an amazing team!”
