INGENIOUS IRONBARK TREE // Here's a throw back image that we love to share. In 2011 Warwick participant Jenelle Matthew's clever play on words was the talk of the festival. The Iron Bark Tree, was so simple but nothing like that had been done before and the "punny" humor brought a smile to everyone's face. Jenelle continued to be inspired by the word "tree" in subsequent years - "pan-tree", "gan-tree" and "dysent-tree" to name a few 🤣.

Jenelle now focuses her time on helping the Yarntopians with their annual large scale installations.

One month today until just over 60 trees get their jumpers on! Warwick Art Gallery's Yarnbombed Tree exhibition is part of the Jumpers and Jazz in July festival 16 to 26 July 2026.

Today we're showcasing just four of the many local producers who will feature on this year's menu ( The Folly Truffles Stanthorpe Cheese and Jersey Girls Cafe Coco's Orchard and Budburst Australia ) expertly created by once again Church Mouse Cheese to highlight the very best of our region.

💜 Volunteer Spotlight 💜
For many years SCOTS PGC College students and staff have played a huge role in helping make Jumpers and Jazz in July such a success.

From assisting with Jazzy Kids activities, conducting surveys with guests, to the hospitality students providing exceptional service at the Local Flavours Long Lunch, their enthusiasm, professionalism and willingness to lend a hand are invaluable to our festival.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of the Scots PGC College community. Their contribution helps create the welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that makes Jumpers and Jazz so special.

If you see one of these wonderful students volunteering throughout the festival, be sure to stop and say thank you, their hard work, genuine smiles and a 'can do attitude' does not go unnoticed. 💜🎷🧶
