It's that time of the year again - always a treat singing under the direction of Patrick Burns!

Rehearsals have started for this year's community choir as part of the 2026 Warrnambool Organ Festival. Thanks to everyone who came along on the weekend. If you couldn't make it and you're still keen to get involved, it's not too late! Here's the rest of the rehearsal schedule:

Sunday 12th July 1-5pm
Sunday 26th July 1-5pm
(All at Mozart Hall)

Monday 3rd August - evening (time TBC)
(TOAD hall with the WSO)

Saturday 8th August - time TBC
St Joseph's (prior to the concert that night)

We are proud to be associated with the Warrnambool Organ Festival!

CALLING ALL CHORISTERS! The 2026 Warrnambool Organ Festival is coming up in August, and we're once again putting together a choir to join with the Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra in a program based around music from the movies and the silver screen. Rehearsals are happening on June 27, and July 12 and 26 at the Mozart Hall. There'll also be a rehearsal on Monday the 3rd of August at TOAD Hall with the WSO ahead of the performance on Saturday the 8th of August at St Joseph's Church Warrnambool. It promises to be a great learning experience and a lot of fun under the guidance of our Musical Director Patrick Burns. Merri Singers rehearse weekly (correct spelling!) in the Mozart Hall, but for their concert need a bigger venue to hold the afternoon tea.
Just saying that Sunday afternoon will be an ideal time to be indoors...
