The Fabric of Life Festival will be returning once again in 2025, and we wanted YOU to know!

Date for your diaries: 25th October 2025

Location: St Pius X Hall, 32 Hoddle Street Warrnambool

Theme: Sustaying Alive : Disco meets eco; fashion that won't cost the earth; the planet deserves to dance too.

We think that the prize judging categories used last year worked well. so we will keep them, maybe adding an extra youth category. Here are the prize categories

Are you coming to our opening Sunday? Maybe you're bringing the kids Wednesday?? Super exciting things happening at COPACC!!! Fantastic effort put in over the last two days by Deborah Saunders, Sue Ferrari & her troop of wonderful workers, Becky Nevin & Dean Berger, the COPACC team, and the ever clever ColleenHughson who been working hard begind the scenes (bad pun but totally intended). This space is amazing!!

We are super excited to announce that Oceanarium is coming back this winter!! Please join us in celebrating World Environment Day at an amazing venue: Colac Otway Performing Art & Culture Centre. Oceanarium will be free and open to the public Sunday June 4th. We will be running sessions for kindergartens and schools Monday 4th- Thursday 8th. Ask your school to book in now!

Come with us to an underworld wonderland. Oceanarium is a multi-artwork installation developed especially for children from ages 2-12. It has been designed as a way to deepen children’s appreciation and understanding of our marine environment – the Southern Ocean. Oceanarium is open to the public on Wednesday June 7 at COPACC, 9.30am to 5.00pm. Kids $10 each and accompanying adults free. The interactive installation is also available to schools on June 5, 6 and 8. For enquiries please contact the COPACC office on 5232 9418. The creative crew at East warrnambool Primary School shared these images with us last week. How fantatastic is this!! Inspired by their participation in Oceanarium they are transforming their science lab into a woven underwater world- how wonderful!! :)

After months of super busy effort Oceanarium came, it lived & was so loved, & then was all packed away. It would be a fib to say that our artists Becky, Colleen, Deb & Karen have been happily resting with their feet up somewhere sunny, each of them have jumped back into the busy schedules & projects that were awaiting their attention... It's quietly resting but Oceanarium is certainly not gone forever :) We asked photographer Distan Bach to capture Oceanarium in all its glory, we didn't quite expect to get a short film about it that was this beautiful
