I have just completed a pastel artwork titled "Little Egret" for the Warrnambool and District Artist Society Annual Awards Exhibition, which opens 7.00pm on Friday, 26th June.

I had a wonderful time meeting numerous individuals interested in our diverse and personal art world during our Southwest Artists Open Studio Weekend. Many conversations about processes and what inspires me to paint! Over the weekend, I was able to demonstrate my approach to painting a watercolour of a crimson rosella in flowering gum.
