Yaama - we had a special afternoon rehearsing at the Beemunnel yesterday.

These dances are just part of a seven minute narrative which shares important cultural knowledge. The song for this dance will be performed live by Zoey Daley.

Our performance of over an hour’s duration will bring local Wayilwan stories to life!

14th August at 6pm for everyone!

Yaama everyone!! Such a great afternoon - young mob working hard as always to rehearse and learn!

Miss Chris called in to work on the books! Ms Oates supplied a delicious afternoon tea again!
Peter, Charlie and Indi tutoring dance.

We also had a special visitor from Living Languages!!

Riki Powell thank you for visiting and sharing some beautiful knowledge with the children!

Living Languages will be returning to Warren in August to support Wayilwan language revitalisation in our community!! More deets to come!

Such a special time recording the children who

sang so beautifully for our community’s album of songs for babies and young children!
