MESSAGE TO ALL FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES OF MAGICIAN,
GARY JOHNSON.

Gary has been a close friend of our family for over 30 years.
As a young man, he approached me after a show, eager to learn magic. With dedication and passion, Gary went on to become a professional magician, eventually running his own business, Princess Candy and Friends.
He built a beautiful life, marrying and raising two wonderful children.

About 15 years ago, Gary was struck by a severe illness that caused vertigo and left him with hearing loss in one ear.
It was an incredibly traumatic time, and he was unwell for over six months. Despite this, Gary showed remarkable strength—he rebuilt his life and continued working as a magician.

Tragically, just two weeks ago, the same illness struck again.
Gary has now lost hearing in his other ear and is suffering from extreme vertigo. He is unable to work, care for himself, or live independently. The sudden silence and isolation have taken a devastating toll on his mental health.

Thankfully, Gary is not alone—his sister Deborah has taken him in and is caring for him.
But with his income gone entirely, he is now facing an incredibly difficult road ahead.
We are reaching out to friends, the community, and fellow magicians to imagine what it would be like to have your entire world turned upside down overnight.
We are hoping to raise funds to support Gary during this time—so he has some stability and support as he begins the long journey of rebuilding his life once again.
We are in the process of setting up a go fund page today for Gary but in the meantime just filling you in
