Before stages and spotlights, there were street performers...Bards who turned public spaces into living theaters. They were musicians, storytellers, poets, and actors who drew crowds with nothing but voice, movement, and presence.
Street performance is an art of immediacy. There is no curtain, no fourth wall—only the performer and the people. Bards learned to read a crowd, weave music and story together, and hold attention through wit, rhythm, and bold theatricality.
This class explores the art of the Bard through voice, physicality, storytelling, and performance. You’ll learn how to command open spaces, engage strangers, and transform simple moments into unforgettable scenes.
If you’ve ever wanted to capture a crowd and turn any place into a stage, the street is calling.
